you don't have to worry about these days? dr. jennifer ashton is here to tell us what we need to know, what to do about it this morning. we'll take care of those fears. first, we want to get to this incredible story of bravery. this past sunday a man's car burst into flames in northwest georgia. dan gloth would have died if not for some dedicated police officers. we're going to speak exclusively with dan and two heroes who saved him this morning. first, jeff glor with more on the story of that rescue. jeff? >> erica, those police officers are being called heroes this morning. when you see the video, you will see why. the dash cam video says 5:11 a.m. moments before sheriff's deputy chad phillips arrived at the scene of a horrifying accident. >> when i first arrived the flames were probably six, seven foot high. >> reporter: 56-year-old dan gloth was trapped inside his burning car. worried he'd never see his daughters again. his car filled with black smoke, making it impossible to see or breathe. he couldn't kick out the windows. what gloth didn't know was that deputy phillips, two oth
she got a phone call from her best friend jennifer that would change everything. >> she said hey, kristen, i've been thinking, i've talked to my husband, we've been praying about it and she said i really want to carry a baby for you. >> reporter: kristen couldn't believe what she was hearing. >> i said i have to talk to my husband. i went upstairs right away and you will not believe what just happened. i told him, that night we were kind of like this feels right. >> reporter: it felt right because kristen had been through everything together. they'd been friends since they were 7 playing house and growing up sharing special moments. jennifer, a mother herself was offering to be kristen's gestational carrier. that's when someone will carry a woman for pregnancy when a woman can't do it herself. the doctor said it was a perfect fit. >> she was young and had good eggs and we were able to place one embryo ointo her best friend. >> reporter: a baby is now on the way for kristen and her husband. they're expecting in february. >> when that child is here, i'm going to love that child so
